This Custom Linear Shower Drain come in standard lengths from 1 ft to 8 ft and can be further extended with custom cut-to-order inches. To reach your exact required length, simply add the additional inches here - Custom Size Drains: Enter the total number of extra inches in the Quantity box (1 quantity = 1 inch).

Cutting Instructions and Installation

To cut custom grates, we recommend using a compound miter saw fitted with a multi-material cutting blade (80 tooth or more). For waste outlet holes, use a Custom TCT hole saw.

1. Cut the bottom tray 1/8" (3 mm) shorter than the desired length to allow end caps to fit.
2. Cut the top grate 1/32" (1 mm) shorter than the bottom tray to allow for smooth roll-in and a clean fit.
3. Using a Custom hole saw of the appropriate size, drill the outlet hole where needed to align with the floor waste pipe.
4. Insert the end caps into the bottom tray and secure with a bead of silicone on the outer edge.
5. Apply silicone around the lip of the waste outlet and attach it to the underside of the bottom tray at the drilled hole.

*During installation, use a template to ensure the grate does not come in contact with any wet cement-based products.
**Clean regularly with soapy water. Avoid abrasive cloths and acidic chemicals.
***Use a neutral-cure silicone when gluing tiles.

Damage from improper care or installation not in line with AS/NZS 3500.2 or manufacturer specifications will void the warranty.

If the product develops a defect, Custom Grates will correct it at no charge to the registered purchaser. This guarantee does not cover normal wear, misuse, accidental damage, or damage from temperature changes.

Note: Custom Grates products do not form part of the waterproofing system.
